Romanza
Since I decided to try to love myself…I started to do stuff I’m supposed to be okay at…so I grabbed my guitar and recorded one of the most beautiful pieces (at least to me) ever written for the guitar: Romanza (by anonymous-in the 19th century). It’s also known as “Spanish Romance” and it’s famous too from the movie “les jeux interdits”. There’s this band who used the melody in a song too (can’t recall the names).
Anyway, my recording is not perfect I know, but it’s part of this “love me” thing…I’m not perfect and it’s OK (but I will record a better one 
)

“Would you please write down your name and phone number here??”, I looked at the paper, OK it’s an Arabic written form. I looked at the rows filled by others, names: Arabic letters, phone numbers: those Hindu numbers!. I looked behind me “Oh boy it seems they will wait for a while!”. You see I was going to write my 10 digits mobile number (in Egypt) and I think for a minute to visualize the number(shape) in my head and another minute to write(draw) it. No it’s not a story about my most embarrassing moment, I want to ban using these frigging numbers in any Arabic country!!!
Why? Because 1234567890 is our ARABIC-numeral system and these other stuff used in the official papers are the Hindu numbers or as named now Hindu-Arabic numbers(since we use them so much!). Check this (Arabic Numerals) and this (Hindu-Arabic Numerals).
Please stop using these Hindu numbers…I spent couple of minutes trying to remember the song they used to teach us in kindergarten “الواحد واقف مظبوط والأثنين بتبص عليه والثلاثة ثلاث سنَّات ….ألخ” then I realized I spent too much time thinking(singing)…I scratched the drawings and wrote my phone number in Arabic!!!

لا تحزن
المهم, فتحت الكيس لقيت فيه كتاب لدكتور اسمو عائض القرني بعنوان “لا تحزن” …كل هالقد مبيّنة انا متضايقة؟؟ او بس مجرد صدفة؟؟ مكتوب إنّو نباع منّو أكتر من مليون نسخة…يعني كتاب معروف…وبمثّل هدية مناسبة…هي صدفة…انا بطبيعتي بخبّي…لأ,صدفة…أو لأ؟ معقول مبيّن عليّ لدرجة إنّو شافني بحاجة لمساعدة؟؟ لأ…صدفة صدفة
عكل حال…بكل كتاب لازم اعمل شغلة…بفتح الكتاب من نُصّه وبشوف…بهيدا طلعلي الآتي

The Open Door…
I usually pick a song or two for a particular artist and play them for like a week or something (yes!! a single song for a whole week..I’m a freak)…but Evanescence really messed everything up…Their new album is amazing…I can’t find a song to pick on for this week…great music, great vocals, great lyrics, great guitar

Sweet Sacrifice, Snow White Queen, Lithium, Call Me When You’re Sober…ufff…can’t find the one!!!!
