You won’t see anything but garbage if you’re going somewhere in “Ekleem El-Kharoub” (Mount Lebanon).
I was faced by loads of trash everywhere on the roads on my way to the university this morning. Normandy garbage dump in Downtown Beirut is being emptied here. Why? to build a park!! You know solidere and all the crap.
Now the crap is here, you see the ‘industrial’ workers -we should salute them, labor day is coming- work very hard, 24/7. Yesterday, at midnight, trucks loaded with garbage were heading to the town Siblin to dump them. People from Barja and Jadra closed the roads there, so the trucks simply emptied the garbage in the street.

All for a clean Downtown or should I say a whole country?? Because it seems that the other towns are for garbage now. They don’t count!!!
Oh, and need I say that MOST of the citizens here are Hariri and Junblat supporters?!

Please don’t criticize the sources because this is what I found concerning the garbage. And I’m not surprised!!

Here are some photos I took in Jadra, this is a very small part of what remained from the dumping on the other side of the road, I couldn’t take photos there because I couldn’t reach the other side!! Garbage blocks the way!!!

Update: I heard two stories considering whether they emptied all the trucks yesterday or not. But I’m sure of what I saw (check the pictures), these are garbage!
