Porn is less dangerous!

That’s was the pshycatric told my mother (and other parents) at my little sister’s school. There was a parents meeting about sexual awareness for children and how parents should deal with it.

During the meeting, A mother said that her son once told her about his friend who showed him porn movies in the internet, and how he got scared and hid under the table. The doctor said that it’s a normal reaction from a kid in his age (9-12) who still didn’t get any proper sex ed. What the doctor emphasized on was the modern video clips. She said that video clips are more dangerous because:

Kids won’t see porn unless they ’seek’ it, either by internet, magazines, some channels…etc. The clips are simply everywhere.
Usually porns show extreme scenarios, not usually seen in our daily lives as we walk down on the street for example. Clips are into everything, simple scenarios, dancing in a party, at home sleeping, at school…etc.
Kids aren’t capable of applying what they see in the movie (at the moment in their age). Applying the seduction they see in a clip is very simple, the way the performers look, smile, talk, dress, eat, drink, act…etc is very applicable.
We find universities (which is supposed to be an educational institution) honoring such performers not porn stars, kids are having them as idols these days. Can anyone tell me who? I can’t recall such thing but that’s what she said.

So, according to that lady, don’t get scared if your kid told you that s/he saw some porn because usually they won’t accept watching such things in that age and they will see it outrageous, disgusting and very weird. You should give some attentions to the video clips more, because your kid may start turning into one of the ’stars’ right under your nose!
